Hot Cocoa !

Hello friends!!

Hot Cocoa topped with chocolate syrup!

The Drink , which is perfect for this weather…& you can make this in jiffy! 

Recipe :-

Ingredients :-

For 2 mugs 

Unsweetened cocoa powder( 1 tbsp or according to your taste)

 Hot water( 4 tbsp)

Vanilla extract or essence ( few drops)

Sugar ( I used brown .. & powdered) acc. to your taste

1 pinch salt ( optional)

2 cup milk ( boiled)

Cream ( it’s optional .. Instead of this I used choco syrup for Topping ) 

Method :-

⭐️Combine the cocoa, sugar and pinch of salt in a saucepan. 

⭐️Add water( little bit)in to the saucepan & Bring this mixture to an easy boil.

⭐️Add boiled & frothy milk and heat until very hot,Remove from heat and add vanilla extract or essence.

⭐️  Divide in mugs or glasses,Add the cream or topped with choco syrup.

All done! Now take a photo & enjoy 😉 


Shahi Dum Aaloo

Today’s recipe is almost everyone’s favorite.. Shahi Dum Aaloo !! 

I made it without onion & garlic . 

So this is perfect for Jain Fellows …

Generally I used to add onions & garlic but on that day , I especially made for Pooja purpose , that’s why… I didn’t add !

It taste was Divine … Totally restaurant style , super rich,lipsmacking,fingerlicking & Aromatic curry . 

This curry goes perfect with any thing like Roti , Paratha , puri or any Rice Dish.

Shahi Dum Aaloo ( without onion garlic ) recipe :-


10 boiled baby potatoes ( perfectly boiled ,not over boiled , then peel & prick it with the fork all over )

4 tomatoes 
1 inch Ginger piece 
3-4 green chillies 
( make a paste of these three ingredients.. Our tomato paste is ready )

4 tbsp Cashew paste ( kaju paste )
( soak some cashews & grind it with some water or milk )

4 tbsp heavy fresh cream 

1 tbsp or to heat tolerance Kashmiri red chilly powder 

7-8 whole cashews ( optional )

1/2 tbsp coriander powder 

1 tsp turmeric powder 

1 tsp dry mango powder 

1/4 tsp garam masala powder 

1/2 tbsp fennel powder 

1 tsp cumin seeds 

2-3 pinch Asafetida 

2-3 bay leaf 

1 inch Cinnamon piece 

1 piece Mace ( optional ) Javitri

2 green cardamom 

2-3 cloves 

7-8 peppercorns 

1/3 tsp cardamom powder 

1/3 tsp crushed kasuri methi 

2-3 tbsp oil for curry 

Oil for deep frying 

Salt as per taste 

Fistful chopped coriander leaves 

Method :-

⚫️Firstly after pricking boiled potatoes , deep fry them over medium heat until potatoes become golden in color.
Remove it on absorbent paper & keep aside. 

⚫️ Now heat oil in a pan or Kadhahi , as oil heat up , add cumin seeds ,Asafetida ,bay leaf , peppercorns, cloves, Mace ,whole green cardamom , cinnamon stick , whole cashews over low heat & sauté for some seconds or until fragrant.

⚫️Now ,Add Tomato paste & mix well !!
Sauté for 3-4 minutes then add turmeric powder , red chilly powder , coriander powder , Dry mango powder ,half garam masala powder & salt .
Let it cook for sometimes until oil start to leave the side of the pan .

⚫️ Now , add cashew paste & continuously stir for some time then add fresh cream & again continuous stir for 3-4 minutes over low to medium heat .
( add some water , in the same cashew paste vessel & shake … Then add to the curry … Repeat this process while adding fresh cream .)

⚫️ Now, add crushed kasuri methi . 
& fennel powder ….mix well & again sauté for 2 -4 minutes. 

⚫️ Now add fried baby potatoes & stir to coat all the potatoes . 
Cover the lid for 1-2 minute.. Let it cook .

⚫️Now , Add some water ( not too much or not less ) & make gravy … Mix well . 
Add cardamom powder & let it cook for further 5-8 minutes over low to medium heat  
Or Until you get your choice of consistency. 
( keep in mind gravy will be thick after cooling )
( taste & check the seasoning, add if necessary)

⚫️At last & add remaining garam masala powder & chopped coriander leaves … & give it Dum for about 2 minutes over low heat . 

⚫️Now turn off heat , again add some chopped coriander leaves . 
Now it’s ready to serve with anything.

Litti Chokha !! 

A very famous Bihari Dish .. !!

Litti Chokha …yesterday I made it for Dinner !

Truly lips smacking & Chokha was finger licking with the smoky flavor !!

We both relished 👨‍❤️‍👨

Litti Along With Chokha is a complete meal, which you can have in Lunch or Dinner. 

Litti is Kind of whole wheat flour ball , which is stuffed from Sattu (powdered roasted black grams) with herbs & spices.
I made Littis in Appe Pan😄 if you want to bake Littis , you can bake it in Oven.

Then dipped in Ghee( clarified butter )

Chokha is kind of mixture of Roasted mashed potatoes with Roasted Eggplant ( Baigan ) along with spices,roasted tomatoes , Garlic & coriander leaves .

Recipe :-

Ingredients for Litti :-

2 cup whole wheat flour 

1/4 cup oil 

1/4tsp Ajwain ( carom seeds )

Luke warm water for kneading dough 

Salt as per taste 

Ghee for dipping Littis 

Ingredients for Litti Stuffing:-

1 cup Sattu ( Roasted Chickpea flour)

4-5 chopped green chillies 

4-5 garlic cloves ( chopped finely or grated)

1 onion finely chopped 

3-4 tbsp chopped coriander leaves 

1/2 tbsp lemon juice

2 stuffed red chilli pickle (if you don’t have,you can use any pickle)

Salt to taste

Ingredients for Chokha :-

4 mid size roasted or boiled & mashedPotatoes 

1 eggplant Roasted & mashed (Baingan )if you are using small size then take 2 Baingan 

2 large size tomatoes roasted & mashed 

2-3 cloves of Garlic ( finely chopped)

1 large onion finely chopped 

3-4 tbsp or more chopped coriander leaves 

1/2 tbsp red chilly powder 

1/8 tsp black pepper powder 

1 tsp cumin powder 

1/8 tsp dry mango powder 

1 tbsp mustard oil 

Salt as per taste 


Firstly we will make Chokha :-

Chokha is also known as Bharta 😄
⚫️ Make 5-6 small slits in the eggplant & if you wish , you can insert the peeled garlic cloves in eggplant.
Roast the eggplant over a low flame turning from side to side frequently to make sure that all the sides get evenly cooked.

⚫️It will take a good 10-12 minutes. You will know the eggplant is done when the skin start to peel off as your are turning it and when a knife can be easily inserted into the eggplant. Remove and set aside to cool.

Once cool, mash the eggplant and keep aside.

⚫️Similarly, roast the tomato over the flame. Use tongs to turn the tomato from side to side to ensure even cooking and to avoid burning. 
It will take 3-4 minutes.., then peel the skin.

You can use boiled or roasted potatoes!

⚫️Add all the ingredients of Chokha in a big bowl & mix everything.

Check the seasoning & add if necessary!!

Now Chokha or Bharta is ready to serve with Littis . 

Now we will make Litti :-

⚫️Sieve the flour in big bowl and add salt, carom seeds and oil. Knead the dough properly with Luke warm water. Dough should be soft. Cover with a wet cloth and keep aside. Dough is ready. Let it rest for half hour.

⚫️In a big bowl , add all the ingredients of stuffing & mix well … If it seems too dry, add a tsp of oil and few drops of water to it. The texture should be crumbly, Keep aside.
Now our litti stuffing is ready .Make sure the stuffing is not too dry and not too soft.

⚫️After 20-30 min take the dough out and again knead it then make 10-12 equal size balls .now take each ball and flatten them with your palm and make an whole like we make in others stuffed things.

⚫️fill stuffing in the canter and close the ball by lifting the sides by hand.

keep aside and stuff rest of the balls in the same way.

⚫️Put appe pan on gas on medium flame.

Put the litti balls in the Appe pan without any oil.

⚫️Keep rotating litti balls to make sure they bake from all sides. Once it is done from all sides take the litti balls out… can dip it in ghee or apply some ghee with the help of brush .. Choice is all yours !!

⚫️Hot littis are ready to serve with Chokha . 

Serve hot !!

Note :-
You can bake littis in oven also (160 C for 30 minutes). 

But I prefer appe pan as it is so fast. 

You can adjust anything according to your taste like … You can skip eggplant, onion & garlic .

Jeera Aaloo !!

Today’s dish is Simple Jeera Aaloo😍

The dish , which can be prepared in minutes😜

Spicy ,Tangy & tasty😋

Jeera Aaloo is typical Indian Vegetarian dish .. Oftenly served as a side dish & it goes perfect with Puri , Roti or Paratha .

There is always variation in Zeera Aaloo .. This time , I am sharing .. One of them,very simple yet tasty !!

Jeera Aaloo recipe :-

Ingredients :-

4-5 potatoes( boiled & cut into pieces)( Aaloo)

2tbsp ghee /oil oil

1/2 tbsp cumin seeds( Jeera )

1 tbsp Chopped Green Chilly

1/4 tsp turmeric powder

1/2 tbsp red chilly powder

1/2 tbsp coriander powder

1/8 tsp dry mango powder

2-3 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

Salt to taste

( you can also add onion & ginger garlic after adding cumin seeds.. I didn’t add )
Method :-

⚫️Heat ghee in a pan or Karahi ,add cumin seeds after crackling ,add chopped Green Chillies .

⚫️Now , Add boiled potato cubes.

⚫️Sprinkle little turmeric powder,coriander powder and chilly powder, Dry mango powder & salt ,then Toss until becomes golden in color.
Garnish with coriander leaves.

Lobia Palak Masala / Black-eyed bean & Spinach curry !

Our Today’s Curry …. Is 

Lobia Palak Masala/Black-Eyed Bean& Spinach!

A very easy ,very nutritious, full of protein ,Full of iron and super yummy!

Totally lips smacking & finger licking!

It’s very easy to make curry , which you can make in pressure cooker!

This curry goes perfect with Roti , paratha  or any type of bread or even Steamed rice or Zeera Rice. 


Full of protein ( lobia – Good source of protein)

Full of iron ( spinach- Good source of iron)

Beautiful looking 

Lips smacking 

Super delicious 

Easy peasy 

 Lobia palak masala / Black eyed beans & spinach curry !



1 cup Lobia ( black eyed beans )

1 bunch Fresh Spinach ( palak )

1 midsize boiled & mashed potato

1 large onion finely chopped 

1 tbsp ginger garlic paste 

2-3 chopped green chillies 

3 large tomatoes chopped 

1/2 tsp turmeric powder 

1 tbsp Red chilly powder as per your spice tolerance ( Kashmiri lal ) 

1/2 tbsp Coriander powder 

1/2 tsp kitchen King masala 

2-3 pinch Garam masala 

2 tbsp oil 

1/2 tsp cumin seeds 

Salt as per taste 

Preparations :-
Firstly …
Wash & Soak Lobia in enough water overnight or 4-5 hours . 

After soaking , rinse again & add enough water in pressure cooker but not too much  ,add lobia with some salt & give it 3-4 whistle. 

When pressure released , drain lobia & save water ( we will add same water in our gravy )

Take one bunch of spinach,Steam removed , washed & chopped!
Now …

Method :- 

⚫️ Heat oil in pressure cooker & as its heated , add cumin seeds & let them crackle .

⚫️Add ginger garlic paste & sauté for some seconds until raw smell goes off.

⚫️Now, Add finely chopped onions & chopped green chillies & sauté until onions becomes translucent .

⚫️Add turmeric powder & mix well .

⚫️Now , Add chopped tomatoes & some salt. 

⚫️sauté until tomatoes gets mushy & oil start to leave the sides of the cooker. 

⚫️Now,Add red chilly powder , coriander powder & kitchen King masala . 

⚫️sauté for some seconds & add half cup of saved water and sauté again for 5 minutes ( we will use same water ,which we used while boiling )

⚫️Now , Add boiled Lobia & mashed potatoes & sauté for 2 minutes. 

⚫️Now, Add chopped spinach & mix well.

⚫️Now , Add two cups of saved water or as per your choice of consistency & mix well.

⚫️Now , taste seasoning; add if necessary.

⚫️Cover the lid of the pressure cooker , on low to mid flame , give it 2-3 whistle . When pressure released , open cooker check consistency, if you want little thick consistently, turn on heat on medium & cook uncovered for 3-4 minutes. 

⚫️Now , at last turn off heat . add some garam masala & fresh chopped coriander leaves . 

Now it’s ready to serve. Serve hot with Roti or Rice .

Aromatic, A great one pot meal &full of flavors !!
It’s super yummy & easy Rice Preparation!! 

It’s a flavorful One pot meal .. Which you can have in Lunch or Dinner !!

It’s a wonderful dish for tiffin also ,I made it for Hubby’s Tiffin !!

Pulao + Biryani = Pulyani 

Recipe :-


2 cups Basmati Rice 

2 large Onion thinly sliced 

2 mid size Tomatoes

2-3 Green chilli 

3 cups Water 

1 tbsp Fresh lemon juice

2 tbsp ginger garlic paste 

1/4 cup milk ( normal ) 

4 tbsp fresh whisked yogurt 

 Fistful Mint leaves

3-4 tbsp chopped Coriander leaves

Salt to taste

Veggies , which I used !! 

Potatoes mid size – 2 

Cauliflower florets – 10-12

Carrot – 1 big cut into thin pieces 

Fresh/frozen peas – 1/3 cup

Beans 10-12 cut into little long pieces 

Bell peppers – 1/2 cup chop

For the Seasoning

Oil – 2 tbsp 

Ghee – 2-3 tbsp 

Cloves – 4-5

Peppercorns 8-10 

Cinnamon – 2 (1 inch piece) 

Cardamom – 2

 Bay leaf -2

Cumin seeds- 1/2 tsp 

Masalas / spices 

Biryani Masala powder- 2 tsp f (readymade)

Coriander powder – 1 tsp

Red Chili Powder – 3/4 tsp

Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp

Black pepper powder-1/4 tsp 

For Garnishing 

Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp finely chopped

 Cashew nuts – 10-15 ( little fried ) 

Adjust anything.. According to your tastebuds or availability !!  
Method :- 


1. Wash and soak basmati rice for half an hour. Drain the rice and keep it aside.

2. Wash then cut cauliflower into florets and put the florets in salted hot water for 4-5 minutes. Drain the water and keep it aside.

3. Sliced onions ( thinly ) & Slit green chillies. Cut carrot and bean into small pieces or as per your choice.

4. I used frozen green peas , if you are going to use fresh one ; then Blanch the green peas and keep it ready.
 if you cut carrot, beans & potato into small pieces then you don’t need to parboil.

Now …

⚫️In a pressure cooker , heat oil + ghee

Then add all the ingredients mentioned in seasoning.Temper them all for a few seconds.

⚫️When it sizzles, add thinly sliced onions and green chilli.

⚫️Sauté until onions turn golden brown in color & add ginger garlic paste ,Sauté until the raw flavor goes.

⚫️Add chopped tomatoes & sauté for some time .

⚫️Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, biryani masala, little salt & milk . 

⚫️Sauté until the tomato becomes mushy.

⚫️Add half of the mint & coriander leaves at this time . 

⚫️Add all the veggies,mix well for 2-3 minutes & add fresh yogurt . 

Let it cook for 3-5 minutes .

⚫️Now,Add soaked and drained basmati rice.

⚫️Add 3 cups of hot water. Add salt needed (remember we have already added a little salt).

Taste the water and adjust spices and salt.

Add if necessary !!

⚫️Add the rest of the mint leaves and coriander leaves & lemon juice .

⚫️Mix well and bring it to boil.

When water starts boiling, reduce the heat to low and close the cooker. Do not put the whistle/weight, instead I inverted a small cup on the vent to prevent steam from escaping.

⚫️Cook on very low heat for 5-6 minutes or until all the water has evaporated , now turn off the heat. Open the cooker after 5-8 minutes and fluff the rice with a fork gently .
Now garnish with chopped coriander leaves & little fried cashews. 

Now it’s ready to serve .

Serve hot !!

Yes I am again with my Sandwich … I always love to make Sandwiches.. It’s a fun task for me😜😜😋

It’s absolutely Crispy, Crunchy ,Mouth melting & gorgeous too😉

You can have it , in your breakfast or lunch or Dinner or evening snacks !

It’s perfect tiffin recipe .. Which is loved by all !

This recipe will make 2 sandwiches . 


Mid size boiled & peeled potato & paneer cube ( cottage cheese) around 150 gram !


Mashed boiled potato & paneer ( cottage cheese )then add masalas & salt !!

You can add chopped onion Also. 

 1 tsp red chilly powder 

1/8 tsp garam masala

1/8 tsp black pepper masala 

pinch of cinnamon powder 

1/4tsp cumin powder

1/8 tsp dry mango powder 

chopped coriander 

salt as per taste . 


Mix well … Everything !!


Add 2 chopped bell pepper & 2 tbsp tomato ketchup.


Take 2 bread slices …. Today I used simple white bread.

You can use any type of bread .

Spread some green chutney !


Now , place cheese slices.


Now , evenly add good amount of stuffing.


Now add thinly sliced tomatoes !


I added some extra Cheese 😉 


Add more grated cheese 😉


Sprinkle some black pepper powder as per your taste.


Now ,it’s looking perfect 👍🏻


Take another bread slices & spread some tomato ketchup!


Cover with the bread slices & now your sandwichs are ready to be grilled. 

( if you don’t have griller , you can toast in hot Tawa ( griddle) or sandwich maker. 


Brush up with oil or melted ghee or butter …As per your choice !

Now grill it in your griller or griddle!


Perfectly grilled !

Aha .. It’s so crunchy & crispy !

Absolutely delicious!!

Spicy Peanut Potatoes !

Spicy Peanut potatoes !!

It’s our Ekadashi fast today , I made this easy peasy dish . So thought to share with you all . 
It’s a very easy fasting recipe .. Which you can make easily & it’s totally fuss free !!

You can enjoy it without fasting too … In fasting you can have it with kuttu puri or rajgira paratha or anything else But I love to have it with fresh yogurt. 

It’s very yummy & filling. 

 Recipe :-


Potatoes boiled and peeled 7-8 medium 

( cut into cubes )

4-5 tbsp Roasted peanuts crushed(coarsely)

3-4 tbsp whole fried peanuts 

2-3 tbsp Ghee ( for best result )

1/2 tbsp Cumin seeds

1 tbsp chopped green chillies 

4-5 Cloves 

1/2 tbsp black pepper powder 

1/2 tsp red chilly powder 

1/2 tbsp roasted cumin powder

Chopped coriander 

Fasting Salt to taste 

Method :-
Step 1

Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. You an use oil also & fry some whole peanuts over medium heat . Remove it & keep aside . 

Step 2
Add cumin seeds & cloves . 

Step 3
Add chopped green chillies to the ghee and sauté for a minute.

Step 4
Add potatoes & black pepper powder , red chilly powder, roasted cumin powder &salt. 

Step 5
Toss and cook on high heat till the potatoes turn light brown.

Step 6
Add crushed roasted peanuts & whole fried peanuts & turn off heat . Mix well ! (for crushing , you can dry roast peanuts in the pan then let it cool ; remove skin & crush it with the help of mortar pestle)

 Step 7

Now at last, add chopped coriander leaves .

Step 8

Transfer into a serving bowl and serve hot.

Soya chunks masala is a delicious Indian recipe served as a side for Roti or rice. 

It’s absolutely lips smacking & finger licking!!

A very easy preparation for Dinner or lunch 😉

Recipe :-


2 cup Nutella Soya Chunks 

2 small boiled , peeled & mashed potatoes 

3-4 bell peppers ( I used tricolor)

4 red ripe tomatoes chopped 

2 tbsp chopped mint leaves 

2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves 

2 mid size chopped onions 

2 tbsp chopped garlic 

2 tbsp chopped green chillies 

4-5 tbsp oil 

1/2 tbsp cumin seeds 

1 tbsp Kashmiri Red chilly powder or as per your heat tolerance 

1/2 tbsp coriander powder 

1/2 tbsp or little less turmeric powder 

1/2 tbsp kitchen King masala 

2-3 pinch garam masala 

2-3 pinch cinnamon powder 

Salt as per taste

Method :-

  •  Soak soya chunks in hot water for 1 hours.
  • Drain the water and wash it in tap.
  • Squeeze the chunks to remove excess water .
  • Heat 1tbsp oil in a wok & fry soya chunks until it becomes little golden in color . Remove it & keep it aside.
  •  Heat oil in a same wok, Add cumin seeds , let it crackle then add garlic & green chilies ,saute well till the raw smell goes off.
  • Add chopped onion, when onions get translucent, add turmeric powder & mix well.
  • Now ,Add tomatoes and saute well till tomaotes become mushy.
  • Add red chilli powder,coriander powder and kitchen King masala,salt & stir well for 1 minute. 
  • Add half a cup of water .
  • Now , Add bell peppers ,mashed potatoes & mint leaves .Mix well & Sauté for some time.
  • Add soya chunks & mix well .. Sauté for some time again . 
  • Now add 2 & half cup of water or make up your choice of consistency & let it cook for 8-10 minutes over low to medium heat.
  • At last turn off heat & add garam masala & chopped coriander leaves .

Let’s make it together!!


firstly ,In a big bowl Add hot water then add 2 cups of soya chunks . Water should be enough. 

Let it soak for 1 hours.

Drain the water and wash it in tap.

Squeeze the chunks to remove water.

Now, in a wok add little oil & fry these soya chunks until it becomes little golden in color . 

Remove it & keep aside .


Heat some oil in a wok or Pan.


Now , Add cumin seeds & let it crackle . 


Now, add chopped garlic & green chillies.

Sauté for a minute…


Now , add chopped onions & sauté for some time.


Now ,add turmeric powder & mix well ..


Now , add chopped tomatoes & mix well ..


Now , Add Kashmiri red chilly powder , coriander powder , kitchen King masala & salt . 

Mix well … 


Add half a cup of water & mix well !!


Now ,Add chopped bell peppers .

( I used tricolor bell peppers)


Mix well .. 


Now ,slightly mashed potatoes. 


Mix well & sauté for a while .


Now , Add some roughly chopped mint leaves . 


Mix well & sauté for a minute.


Now , Add soya chunks & mix well. 


Let it cook for 5-7minutes over medium heat & keep stirring occasionally.


Now , Add 2 & half cup of water or make up your choice of consistency.


Mix well …


Now , Add 2-3 pinch of cinnamon powder & mix well .


Let it cook for another 8-10 minutes over low to medium heat . 


At last; turn off heat & sprinkle some garam masala .


Now, Add chopped coriander leaves . 


Now it’s ready to serve with Hot Phulkas or steamed Rice .
