As we all know ,breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

It will be the perfect option!
I prefer to make this in a non stick tawa so that i can use less oil & I didn’t add any raising agent.
It’s my All time favorite.

Instant Onion Rawa Uttapam Recipe:-
1 cup Rawa ( Sooji )
3-4 tbsp thick & sour yogurt
4 tbsp milk
1/2 cup water
2 small onion or Shallots ( thinly sliced )
1 tbsp finely chopped green Chilly
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves
1 tsp black pepper powder
1/4 tsp red chilly powder ( optional )
1/8 tsp garam masala powder
Some oil for Drrizzling
Salt to taste
In a big bowl Add Rawa , yogurt , milk & water !
Make lump free,smooth batter !
Add black pepper powder & red chilly powder & salt to taste.
Now add finely chopped green chilly & coriander leaves.
( I reserved some coriander leaves )
Keep aside for some time !
Now after some time the batter will be thick.
If the batter is thick .
Add some more water and make it into a smooth pouring consistency thick batter.
Heat a non stick tawa ( griddle ) & wipe it with some oiled tissue paper.
Pour a ladleful of batter & spread lightly in a round shape over low heat.
Now add thinly sliced onion & some chopped coriander leaves.
Sprinkle some garam masala ( optional )
Slightly press the sliced onion With the help of spatula over low heat.
Now increase the heat & Cook this over medium heat & Drizzle some oil around the sides.
Cook till the bottom is browned.
Flip again & cook from the onion sides for 1-2 minute over medium heat.
Again flip & now it’s ready to serve.
Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
