Almond milk is one of the most nutritious drink. It’s quite famous in all age group.

Almonds are known as badam in Hindi.

It’s very energetic & perfect for balancing the mind & soul.

Chilled Badam Milk Recipe :-

Ingredients :-

500 ml full cream Milk 

20-22 Almonds(badam)

Saffron few strands (optional)

2-3 tsp Sugar (according to taste.. We like mild in taste)

2tbsp finely chopped Cashew (optional)

2 tbsp chopped almonds( for garnishing)

Cardamom powder 1/4 tbsp 

Method :- 

Firstly soak Almonds for 4-5 hours or overnight & Soak few Saffron strands in some warm milk in bowl.

After soaking peel the skin of almonds & in a blender add these peeled almonds with some milk & soaked saffron strands & make smooth paste.

Then put full cream milk in heavy bottomed pan.Stir continuously so that won’t burnt to the bottom.. After boiling, Simmer the gas on low flame.

Then add almonds Paste & chopped cashews.

Stir for while …. After 8-10 min of boiling you will see the milk little thick in consistency .. At this time add little sugar.

Turn off heat !!!

Let the temperature cool down .. Then add cardamom powder !! 

Stir & pour into the vessel & place in fridge .. For some time !!

Before serving topped with chopped almonds for garnishing 😊  

Now it’s ready to sip your chilled Badam Milk !
