Green Peas Curry is a delightful dish that can be made in jiffy with frozen or fresh green peas .
It’s almost restaurant style without any cream or butter or cashew paste.
It goes perfect with Roti , Paratha or any rice dish .

Green Peas Masala / Green Peas Curry recipe:-
2.5 Cup Green Peas ( I used frozen one)
2 big size red ripe tomatoes ( bend in the blender with 3-4 clove &6-7peppercorn & little water )
2 -3 tbsp oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
2 finely chopped onion
2 tbsp chopped garlic
1 tsp chopped ginger
1 tbsp chopped green chillies
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp coriander powder
1-2 tbsp red chilly powder ( according to your heat tolerance )
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp kasuri methi ( dried fenugreek)
1 tsp sugar
Chopped coriander leaves
Heat oil in pan ,as it heats … Lower the flame add cumin seeds,after crackling add chopped ginger & garlic.
Sauté for some time then add finely chopped onion & chopped green chilly.
Again sauté for some time until onion becomes translucent .
Then add cinnamon powder & turmeric powder .
Add blended tomato paste,sugar & crushed kasuri methi .
Now again sauté for some time until oil start to leave the sides of pan .
Now add coriander powder & red chilly powder & 2 pinch of garam masala, salt & 2 tbsp of water .
Again sauté until oil start to leave.
Now add frozen green peas ( you can use fresh one too .. But try to add little boil one )
Now give it a perfect stir & cover the lid over medium heat . Let it cook for 2-3 minute then open the lid .
Now add milk + hot water according to your choice of consistency in the curry .
Mix well …!!
Let it cook uncovered for some time over medium heat .
When green peas cook completely .
Turn off gas .
Taste & check the salt , add if necessary .
Now add garam masala powder & chopped coriander leaves .
Now it’s ready to Serve .
Serve hot with anything .
