It’s my all time favorite ..This dish specially made during Fasting or Vrat but this is good breakfast option too !!

Sabudana khichdi Recipe :-

2 cup sabudana (tapioca),

2-3 Potatoes…. boiled n cut in to small pieces & 

2-3 tbsp chopped green chilies, 

1tsp black pepper powder 

1/2 tsp Red chilly powder ( optional)

2 tsp sugar powder (optional)

1/2 cup Roasted or fried Crushed peanut

Fasting salt to taste, 

3-4 tbspoon oil or ghee

2 teaspoon cumin seeds,

coriander leaves 

Method :-

Wash sabudana very well …. Drain the water and keep it aside for 4-5 hours (Depending on the quality, sometimes it needs to be soaked overnight )

Heat oil or ghee in a pan.
Add cumin seeds after crackling add potato pieces and chilies.

As soon as potatoes become light golden in colour . Then remove it from the pan into the other vessel 

And again heat some oil in pan and add cumin & rest of chopped green chillies then add sabudana and keep Stirring for 8-10 minutes then add fried potatoes & crushed peanut and black pepper, red chilly powder ( optional) powder and sugar powder.

Cook uncovered for sometime around 5 minute ..and keep mixing so that sabudana won’t stick to the bottom.

Garnish with coriander leaves .

Serve hot.
